For this year's Otakon Artists' Alley, I made a set of MLP:FIM figurines. Of course, since dragons are my thing, I made the characters as dragons! Here's Zecora, who is my absolute favorite of the pony-dragons. I am really not a fan of her rhyming on the show, but I do think her character design is fantastic, and that translated into this figurine getting a lot of love. Ugh, I need to practice painting though. Next time, I'll know to avoid trying to do her markings in paint pen. That didn't turn out so well. -_-

Her mane and tail tuft were made with colored clay, but the rest of her black markings were painted on with acrylic paint. I tried paint pen at first, but I couldn't get it into all the little nooks and crannies, so I ended up going over everything with paint and a brush.
